June 06, 2011EDIT June 9th - Pardon My Dust I don't know how it happened, but if you looked at the home page last night or this morning, you might have noticed that it was VERY wonky. I don't remember messing with the CSS but obviously something went askew. Being that I know just enough HTML to get myself into trouble, it took me about four to five HOURS and rewriting the html and the css for the page to get it back to good. You'll note I removed the "go to" link...unnecessary when the "Today's page" will do the same thing, and it was one of the items messing up the code. The other was the talkshoe link, which still isn't where I want it,but it's not moving my footer to the middle of the page any more so I'm leaving well enough alone! Sorry for the mess...hopefully it will be easier on the eyes this morning! News: School is out, that means that I am without employment until school starts again or I am accepted for a full time job. Summer is for job hunting, projects, vacation, and COMMISSIONS! Yes, as a way to bring in just a little extra cash I am opening 5 commissions at a time. Week 6! This week's entry comes to you from Elaine. "Riven Sol" is a science fiction/horror comic with Lovecraftian roots, including (As yet unseen in their true form Chuthulu-like offspring!) rated PG-13 for violence and some language.
The art looks to be a combination of 3D posers and Photoshop special effects that give the comic a very unique quality...the story is original and very well paced and I await each installment eagerly! Give it a shot whether you're a sci-fi buff or a Lovecraftian fanatic, you'll find something to enjoy about this title! - |
