Plague's Upgrade

You might have remembered me mentioning a while back that I had an upgrade in mind for Gemutations: Plague? Well I ran into some technical difficulties with it, and the man with the answers was busy getting RL stuff in order, so the upgrade had to be put on the back burner. Well, This weekend the last few bugs have been worked out and the upgrade has gone live.

What you'll notice? Very little actually - most of the upgrade had to do with functional changes rather than aesthetic ones.
-Plague has been incorporated with chapter navigation buttons, so like TOHS you can skip between chapters if you so desire.
- Sidebar and comic page areas have been altered slightly. The comic background area is wider to give a better border around pages, and the sidebar icons have been made smaller to allow me to narrow the sidebar out (the icons suddenly looked HUGE).
- Fanart page is also altered some, the individual icons are smaller and there are more of them per row so there is less vertical scrolling involved. The fanart archive itself has the same functionality as before, there may be future upgrades which will allow me to put some form of linkable news, but that hasn't yet happened.

That is about it for what will be visibly changed! However enjoy the faster page loads...:D

Fan Art Contest

Five days remain to get in on the Fan Art Contest running for Gemutations: Plague!

If you are interested in participating please submit your Plague fanart to [email protected] no later than November 10 (my birthday).

All Fan Art entries will run the week of the 13th - the 18th of November and will be open for public judging by readers.

Comic Trivia Contest

The week of the 12th through the 18th will also herald in a trivia contest based on the Plague archive. This one is simple - I will post five questions a day, the person who correctly answers the most trivia questions gets autographed copies of both of my books. Similar prizes will be awarded for second and third place winners as for the fan art contest! So if you're not an artist but really want to lock down one of the prizes this contest will be for you!
